Biographical sketch

Yimin holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Missouri - Kansas City. His research focuses on spatio-temporal reconstruction of viral spread with phylogeographic models. He is also passionate about developing user-friendly web apps for better data visualization.

PhD project

In December 2021, Yimin started a PhD project co-supervised by Guy Baele at the Evolutionary and Computational Virology Lab (KU Leuven) and Simon Dellicour at the Spatial Epidemiology Lab (ULB).
